Fresh Weaned Montego Bay Steers

Just clipped out just a couple of fall prospect calves that Wesley Ruddick had born this year out of Montego Bay.  Calves have been weaned right at two weeks, and are coming on like crazy. So happy to see on of our partners having such great success with their ZNT genetics.

As quoted by one of the breeders using Montego Bay for natural service, "No matter what type or quality of cow you breed Montego Bay to, the calf will be better than the dam".

Semen available on Montego Bay from SEK Genetics, Cattle Visions, Bull Barn Genetics, or directly from ZNT Cattle Co. and its Montego Bay shareholders.

Rare Steer Find at ZNT

You don't see very many steer prospects come through ZNT Cattle Co, but they are all usually pretty dang good when they do.  This Sept Walks Alone Steer out of a Breathe Easy x Triple X daughter is no exception.  He is square hipped, sound made, and super hairy.  He is also smooth polled with a slightly Angus looking head.  Price SOLD

Res. Grand Fullblood Maine Female 2014 Ft. Worth Stock Show

Great job to Natalie Mai in exhibiting the Reserve Grand Champion Fullblood Maine Anjou Female at the 2014 Ft. Worth Stock Show.  A special thanks to to Jerry and Judd Gibson of 4J Family Partnership for raising this female, Leighton Robbins for all the help fitting on show day, and of course Traci Mai for all the support both at the show and a home.  Also want to thank the Ward and Kaz families for all the help leading up to, and at the show.  And Natalie would like to thank Parker for all her help and companionship the entire week at Ft. Worth.  They were a great team!
